Designation: Associate QA Engineer
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on System Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Work Mode: Hybrid
Shift Timing: 11 AM - 8 PM

Mandatory Skills:
Functional Testing, Automation, Agile, Azure DevOps.

Good to have:
ETL Testing, Desktop Automation (UFT/ UI Path/ Power Automate), Selenium/ Playwright, Java, Jscript, etc.,

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects/Project Stakeholders/QA Lead to understand project requirements from BRD’s and Acceptance criteria defined in User stories.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for System Testing(ST) ,  System Integration Testing (SIT) and Joint System Integration Testing (JSIT) with UAT and customer teams
  • Execute test cases and document test results and defects  in a timely and efficient manner in Azure dev ops. 
  • Perform functional and regression testing to ensure the quality and stability of software applications.
  • Provide assistance on testing the UAT and PROD defect fixes. 
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and resolve defects and issues.
  • Work on automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve test efficiency on Desktop/Web Applications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA processes and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in QA and Agile methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on System Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software systems.
  • Good understanding of SQL and DB Validations.
  • Experience with Web test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
  • Experience with Desktop automation tools such as UFT, Winapp driver or any RPA based tools.
  • Solid understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
