Overview:
Xerox Company, is seeking a Print / Mail Associate to support El Paso, TX area.

Responsibilities:
  • Operating mailing, copy or scanning equipment.
  • Orders paper, toner and other supplies as directed by Site Manager or Supervisor.
  • Follows production workflow to produce high volumes of work, using high end digital printer/copier equipment.
  • Uses all copier equipment, calculator, fax machine, and PC.
  • Delivers completed jobs to predetermined customer locations within the site.
  • Effectively prepares and troubleshoots various file formats and changes to PDF print-ready status.
  • Ensures convenience copiers are working properly.
  • Checking for quality via daily inspections.
  • Clears paper jams and informs technicians of specific problems.
  • Answers customer questions regarding status or feasibility of job requests.
  • Perform various Mail Center activities (sorting, metering, folding, inserting, pickup, etc.)
  • Answer and direct calls appropriately.
  • Lift heavy boxes, files or paper when needed.
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment.
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Take direction from supervisor or site manager.
  • Maintain all logs and reporting documentation with great mindfulness.
  • Participate in cross-training and providing support to other locations when needed.
  • Shipping and receiving.
  • Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Sort and deliver mail, small packages.

Qualifications:
  • Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred).
  • Experience running mail posting equipment a plus, but not needed.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Lifting up to 20-30 lbs. with or without accommodations.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
  • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy.
  • Local travel.
