Builds and maintains effective relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues. Position Concept: 


The Software Specialist is a Sales SME role that is responsible for the sale of CARE AR Xerox solution while providing support to Xerox sales reps. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced skill set and subject matter expertise in software &/or AR solutions.


The sales specialist will be required to coach and provide sales support to the sales force as well as making calls to existing/potential customers.  Directly impacting moving the sales cycle forward is a key priority for this position.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:


  • Act as subject matter resource for Sales Reps in addressing solution questions, customer objectives, proposals and utilization of tactical actions.
  • The sales specialists will be responsible for key high impact activities including executive presentation, virtual or live customer demos and leading assessments leveraging 2nd level expertise from the CARE AR team
  • Qualifying and providing sales support for software sales cycles
  • Engagement of Extended Resources i.e. Field Specialists, Partners, Pricing, Legal, Risk, Credit, Service Delivery and Support Team
  • Development and delivery of customer proposals.
  • Customer facing contract creation and explanation.
  • Support to point of contract submission and handoff to Sales and Delivery.
  • Strategic Discussion of existing software accounts.  Focus on account retention and growth, identifying opportunities to expand our partnership in Current Accounts
  • This is a quota bearing assignment.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following:

  • Candidate Education:  University Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated successful sales experience
  • 4-6 years of successful sales / marketing experience (at or above plan)
  • Excellent business acumen and relationship skills
  • Excellent presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to think creatively when developing solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp technical product and software knowledge etc.
