The ideal candidate may be required to perform any of the following:

  • Remediate security violations on Windows/Linux systems by upgrading or removing 3rd party software. Knowledge of Excel, Windows, Linux administration.
  • Convert Confluence Wiki pages to SharePoint documents or Stack Overflow “How-To” postings. Knowledge of Word and technical writing skills, python scripting maybe required.
  • Assist in implement some sort of container (Docker/Kubernetes) in Jenkins for builds. Knowledge of Jenkins and python scripting required, Docker/Kubernetes knowledge a plus.
  • Migrate SharePoint locations to One Drive. Knowledge of basic data transfer required.
  • Refactor Puppet code to an Open-Source solution (e.g. bolt or something that is open-source). Knowledge of python scripting required, Puppet knowledge a plus.
  • Automate maintaining desktop applications on servers of various open-source applications (NotePad++, Chrome, FireFox, Git, Corretto, Wireshark, etc.). TBD on requirements.

In addition to knowledge requirements specified, candidate must work well in team environment and have good communications skills. Candidate will be required to track effort against tasks in in-house planning tool.
