Purpose:
As a sales leader, the Business Development Manager, Agency Partner is a field role (customer and partner-facing), responsible for driving revenue in the region.
The focus is on end-user sales calls with partner sales representatives, RFP influencing and L&D activities to drive performance across Xerox offerings, engaging pre-sales specialist resources where appropriate.
The candidate would determine priorities for L&D and programs to drive regional agency performance and engage internal resources to enable.
Scope:
The role is aligned to Xerox Agent Channel partners in Ontario. Agencies represent Xerox through sales coverage in their regions. The majority of time will be spent in the Greater Toronto Area and large urban centres.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop agency sales representatives’ competency and lead large opportunities.
- Support strategy plan execution
- Owning and achieving revenue targets on a quarterly basis
- Teamwork and Collaboration.
- Recognized as an expert in own function
- Interprets internal or external business opportunities and develops action plans and recommendations on solutions/best practices
What you need to succeed:
- Post-secondary degree
- Microsoft suite of products competency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Demonstrated successful sales leadership experience (coaching, leading)
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience (at or above quota)
- Excellent business acumen and relationship skills
- Excellent presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think creatively when developing solutions
- Demonstrated ability to grasp product knowledge and translate into a customer value proposition
- Ability to work multiple priorities and develop and execute on action plans
