We are seeking a flexible and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic organization. You’ll play a key role in supporting our financial operations, compliance efforts, and strategic planning, while contributing to process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support day-to-day financial operations, including order approvals, supplier and expense payments, billing, and collections

  • Process and manage transactions related to cash flow, commissions, and rebates

  • Conduct sales and provincial tax reconciliations; support timely tax filings

  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

  • Prepare and review journal entry (JE) reconciliations

  • Ensure the timely preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements

  • Analyze period-end financial results and provide commentary for senior management

  • Establish, document, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

  • Support financial system integration and improvement initiatives

  • Prepare documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits

  • Participate in ad hoc financial projects and business initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and eagerness to learn

  • Open-minded, flexible, and adaptable approach to work

  • Strong communication skills
