Job Title: Associate - QA Engineer  

Experience Level: 3-7 Years  

  

Responsibilities:  

  • Sr.QA Engineer who needs to be a strong independent contributor who Collaborate with Solution Architects/Project Stakeholders/QA Lead to understand project requirements from BRD’s and Acceptance criteria defined in User stories.  
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT) and Joint System Integration Testing (JSIT) with UAT and customer teams  
  • Execute test cases and document test results and defects in a timely and efficient manner in Azure dev ops.  
  • Perform functional and regression testing to ensure the quality and stability of software applications.  
  • Provide assistance on testing the UAT and PROD defect fixes.  
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.  
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and resolve defects and issues.  
  • Work on automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve test efficiency on both Desktop/Web Applications. 
  • Having hands-on automation experience is key to contributing to our Automation packs.  
  • Should be willing to play both Functional and Automating testing roles.  
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA processes and methodologies.   
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in QA and Agile methodologies.  

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.  
  • 3-7 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on System Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).  
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile environments.  
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software systems.  
  • Experience in Web test automation tools such as Java - Selenium, Playwright (Java Script).  
  • Experience in Desktop Automation or RPA based tools like Power Automate, UI Path, etc.,  
  • Solid understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.  
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.  
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.  
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
