Overview:
Xerox is seeking a safety-focused and detail-oriented Chemical Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing toner and photoconductor drums from raw materials to finished goods using highly automated production equipment. You will play a key role in producing high-quality products, maintaining accurate production records, and supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Flexibility to support weekend production schedules as business needs require is expected.

Shift: 2nd Shift; starting 3PM-11:30 PM MST

What You Will Do:
  • Manufacture toner and photoconductor drums from raw materials to finished products by following established procedures.
  • Operate highly automated production equipment while maintaining product quality and production efficiency.
  • Collect production samples and accurately record production data and documentation.
  • Perform daily safety inspections and routine maintenance checks on production equipment.
  • Clean and maintain production equipment, workstations, and tools to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Support inventory accuracy by maintaining material and supply counts for manufacturing areas.
  • Prepare work areas for incoming shifts and document shift activities to ensure effective communication between teams.
  • Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts as required.
  • Review daily company communications and comply with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while following established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Ability to stand, crouch, lift, push, and pull materials and equipment of varying sizes and weights throughout the shift.
  • Flexibility to work weekends based on production demands.
  • Ability to work non-rotating shift schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to accurately document production information and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Forklift experience is beneficial or the ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts as required.

Compensation:
  • $19.00–$28.00 per hour, plus applicable shift differential. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment.
