We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Team Manager to lead our team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in driving pipeline growth for our IT solutions portfolio. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on coaching to ensure our team consistently delivers high-quality leads, meets pipeline targets, and aligns closely with marketing and sales to accelerate revenue growth.


You’ll be accountable for team performance, pipeline health, and the professional growth of your reps—playing a critical role in shaping our go-to-market success.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of BDRs to consistently meet and exceed pipeline creation targets.
  • Develop individual performance plans and provide regular feedback, training, and career development guidance.
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Pipeline & Revenue Growth

  • Drive team execution on KPIs such as qualified meetings booked, pipeline generated, and lead-to-opportunity conversion rates.
  • Partner with sales leadership to ensure opportunities are progressing through the funnel and align with revenue goals.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Quality & Process Excellence

  • Implement best practices for lead qualification and pipeline management to maximize conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with targeted outreach efforts.
  • Leverage data to improve lead quality, outreach strategies, and territory planning.

Talent Development

  • Reduce onboarding and ramp time for new BDRs through structured training programs.
  • Maintain high team engagement and retention through clear career pathing and skills development.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion within the team, ensuring an inclusive and motivating environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in business development, sales, or related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding team quota targets in a B2B IT or SaaS environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
