Purpose:

  • To support the Xerox MEA  core operational processes for bid opportunities and overall deals by providing commercial assessment of the opportunities, financial modelling, pricing advise, process ownership, deal price structuring
  • Provide financial management information (deal P&L) to the SLT for to support strategic deal decisions in relation to regional deals & business opportunities 
  • To continuously seek ways to improve and enhance business processes to improve our success and win rate in the market
  • To be a focal point coordinating and applying relevant pricing and competitive information to business opportunities to increase winning chances for the deals
  • Provide financial assessment of the business opportunity including revenues, profitability, overall deal returns

Scope:

  • The role will report into the MEA Head of Commercial & Post Sales but work closely with the General Managers and Partner Managers for the assigned regions. Close cross functional collaboration across the teams additional with Product Manager, SAP Analyst, Order to Collect team, Finance etc.
  • This role will have stated pricing approval levels assigned to them within a set authority matrix
 

Main Responsibilities:

  • To support the Xerox MEA  core operational processes for bid opportunities and overall deals by providing commercial assessment of the opportunities, financial modelling, pricing advise, process ownership, deal price structuring
  • Provide financial deal management information to the SLT for to support strategic deal decisions in relation to regional deals & business opportunities
  • To continuously seek ways to improve and enhance business processes to improve our success and win rate in the market by working with the countries, partner managers and partners
  • To be a focal point coordinating and applying relevant pricing and competitive information to business opportunities to increase winning chances for the deals 
  • Ensure process compliance for all deals by obtaining all required approvals
  • Continuously manage, implement and monitor pricing levels to support the short, medium and longer term achievement of business objectives as well as own pricing analysis and/or work with the Partners and Partner Manager teams
  • Support the Management team by providing business information on status of commercial opportunities such as win ratios, achieved price points, financial deal summaries etc

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum University Degree Preferred - Business, Information Technology, Service Outsourcing work experience, Finance, Maths
Candidate Background: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen - Knowledge of complex business operations, experience in financial modelling and /or deal / product pricing
  • Preferred Knowledge of the IT and Outsourcing Industry and / or Printing Industry
  • Ability to effectively communicate using a range of verbal and written communication skills. Especially important is the ability to communicate appropriately within a diverse multi-cultural environment and across the full range of business disciplines
  • Multi-Cultural - Clearly recognizes variances and similarities across a diverse range of cultures, demonstrating behaviors that acknowledge differences and accommodate them in the attainment of business objectives
  • Able to demonstrate effective and successful contributions to team and/or cross-functional team objectives.
  • Competency in maintaining process and reporting documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload in a demanding and fast changing environment within set timelines
  • Experience in analysis, integration and interpretation of business data
  • Advanced Excel skills
