Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compliant Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processes and statutory reporting activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate payroll execution, account reconciliations, and compliance with both internal controls and local regulations. What You’ll Do:
• Process payroll transactions and maintain payroll systems accurately and on time
• Ensure correct salary calculations, tax withholdings, and statutory deductions
• Interact with government agencies and third-party payroll entities as needed
• Maintain up-to-date payroll records, journals, and reconciliation reports
• Conduct quarterly account reconciliations and year-end payroll activities
• Support audits by preparing and delivering required documentation
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, and policy guidelines
• Partner with Accounting for entries related to payroll and reconciliation activities
• Provide support for payroll forecasting and reporting
What You Need to Succeed:
• At least 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience
• Solid understanding of payroll cycles, statutory compliance, and reconciliation practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (preferred)
• Familiarity with payroll forecasting and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
