Overview:
Due to the nature of this position and the customers it supports, this opportunity is open to U.S. Citizens only. Xerox is seeking a Contract Manager – Public Sector Contracts to support customer contracting activities across both commercial and public-sector customers. In this role, you will manage lower-to-moderate complexity customer agreements throughout the contract lifecycle, partnering with Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient deal execution while ensuring contractual compliance and effective risk management.

What You Will Do:
  • Review, draft, administer, amend, renew, close out, and support negotiations for lower-to-moderate complexity customer contracts and related business documents, including master agreements, statements of work, order documents, amendments, renewals, and closeout documentation.
  • Manage contract intake, approvals, execution, recordkeeping, renewal tracking, obligation tracking, and contract administration throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Identify contractual, commercial, operational, and compliance issues, escalating complex or non-standard matters to Legal or senior contract management colleagues when appropriate.
  • Coordinate internal reviews, approvals, and exception processes in accordance with company governance, delegation of authority, and policy requirements.
  • Ensure contract terms align with pricing, statements of work, customer commitments, service obligations, procurement requirements, and implementation capabilities.
  • Support commercial customer contracting activities and assist with public-sector procurement and bid support, including solicitation reviews, certifications, representations, flow-down requirements, compliance obligations, and proposal deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate contract records within the contract lifecycle management system and prepare concise contract summaries outlining key obligations, non-standard terms, approval history, renewal dates, and implementation requirements.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and business stakeholders to support efficient contract execution, practical risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to contract templates, reporting, process improvements, and contract management best practices.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Procurement, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Approximately 2–4 years of experience in contract management, procurement, bid support, legal operations, or a related contracting function. Candidates with closely related experience will also be considered.
  • Experience supporting commercial customer contracts, including statements of work, order documents, amendments, renewals, and related contractual documentation.
  • Working knowledge of commercial contracting practices, contract administration, approval processes, and contract risk assessment principles.
  • Strong contract drafting, interpretation, issue-spotting, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to recognize when guidance or escalation is appropriate.
  • Experience supporting customer negotiations, contractual exceptions, internal approvals, and post-award contract administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation, deadlines, obligations, and compliance requirements accurately.
  • Experience supporting public-sector contracting, including federal, state, local government, education, cooperative purchasing, or government reseller programs, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, GSA Schedules, state master agreements, cooperative purchasing vehicles, or similar public-sector contracting frameworks is considered an asset.
  • Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, or equivalent are considered an asset.
