You are currently in a college program seeking an internship opportunity. You are the type of person who enjoys being part of a cross functional team. You will participate in all aspects of the software delivery process including gathering requirements, designing, and developing software solutions. As a member of the Workplace Solutions Engineering Development Group. You will have the opportunity to leveraging expertise in software development and systems integration for a growing family of office multi-function and printer devices.
Responsibilities:
As an intern you will support a wide variety of tasks and functions within the group that will include the following elements:
- Participate in design analysis of system features with a focus on securing the device and user data as the functions are executed.
- Develop Security Documentation templates/updates for Security Guides, Data Storage whitepapers, etc.
- Support the team through penetration testing of systems and software packages.
- Track newly introduced Product Security Inquiry Requests through the steps to determine if there is a problem to be managed. Ensure data is entered into Jira and all supporting information is included.
- Execute Software Composition Analysis to ensure 3rd party SW is licensed and secure.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Python and C++
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Tableau or similar Data Visualization tools a plus.
