We require an experienced Strategic Bid Writer to join our team in The Netherlands.

Purpose:

•  Responsible for managing the content for bids and tenders with particular emphasis on writing for both public sector and large enterprise markets.
• To develop with bid managers and other pursuit team members detailed bids and tenders submission documents for Xerox Netherlands and the Xerox Western Europe Bid Centre.
• To write standard and custom descriptive and technical text using illustrations and images that reflect the aims and value propositions of Xerox offerings in order to win profitable business for Xerox Netherlands.

Scope: 

Specific: 

• Strategic Bid Writer is an externally focused role, accountable for developing content for high quality tender responses and associated materials typically for medium to large Services deals ($100,000 - $100 million). 
• The role holder supports the Strategic Bid Manager and other bid pursuit team members by authoring, editing, structuring and proof-reading tender response documents.
• A specialized role working across multiple bids at any one time, your expertise will inform and drive the win strategy narratives and quality of written responses in the Xerox Netherlands Tender Response Process.
• As the leader of content creation you will drive high standards across the pursuit team. 

General:

• Educated to Degree level and above.
• Works with the Bid Managers to create winning tender responses.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are key.
• Written language skills must be developed to a very high level, with evidence available. 
• Primarily domestic accountability, working for the Western Europe Bid Centre on “Single Country” tenders, specifically The Netherlands.
• The role requires a high level of written and spoken Dutch

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interact with strategic bid managers, bid managers, consultants, sales leads, pre-sales, service delivery and senior management both in their own region and across the Western Europe region to ensure pursuit strategies and client needs are understood and reflected in written tender response documents.
• Co-ordinate the gathering, analysis, writing and editing of all relevant information required to complete bid documents in a timely manner, ensuring consistent style and appropriate tone of language and presentation.
• Update, review and rewrite the Xerox Netherlands content library as appropriate, refreshing and improving answers on an ongoing basis. Identify and assemble important standard input (e.g. references, case studies, statistics etc.) for use in tender response content. 
• Lead, motivate - and act as a source of guidance for – pursuit team members and other contributors to a successful proposal in all elements connected to the written narrative and tender response. 
• Contribute to the overall bid strategy and the Western Europe and Global Bid Centre communities.
