Primary Objective/Scope: Assist with the day-to-day operations of Xerox’s Indianapolis Reprographics & Digital Imaging Center (RDIC), with a focus on delivery, and production printing.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Indiana Driver’s license
Ability to lift 40 pounds chest high
General understanding of computer technology, including Microsoft Office and Adobe
Mental skills for problem-solving, teaching, written and verbal communication, information comprehension, acuity, and ability to work well with others
Typing near or above 40 wpm
PREFERRED Skills:
Ability to interpret project instructions and work closely with customer service team to effectively produce daily print requests
Strong attention to detail, with good organization and multi-tasking skills
The ability to carefully handle and manage large volumes of individual documents, paper and digital
The ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet respective deadlines
The ability to work independently under deadline, and adapt to change
A willingness to learn new skills
Graphic design skills
Previous work experience in a print-for-pay environment
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide delivery of various printed paper products to customers in and around the Indianapolis area
Directly support production printing to include wide-format (blue prints), lamination, poster and foam board work
Minimal to moderate physical effort required to lift and move paper boxes and packaged printed products, as well as loading rolls of paper into printers. Scanning projects will require finger dexterity and movement between machines for different types of documents.
Prepare customer documents for the digital imaging process
Check physical documents for quality issues that may complicate the scan process
Prepare a wide array of document types and conditions for scanning
Gain proficiency scanning large format drawings
Name/Index digital files according to naming mechanisms outlined by the customer and/or RDIC leadership, along with additional post-imaging services
Other duties as required to meet business needs
