Overview: 
Xerox Corporation is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a Delivery Driver / Shop Specialist to support Davenport, IA. As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set-up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time (Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM with occasional overtime) opportunity.

What You Will Do: 
  • Maintains vehicle and other provided equipment in a neat, clean, and functioning form
  • Fuels vehicle in advance of delivery schedule needs
  • Reviews and verifies delivery schedule on supplied Tablet and attached paperwork. Contacts appropriate dispatcher if needed
  • Checks paperwork on top of all machines to be loaded, verifies model number, serial number and all serialized accessories
  • Loads and secures all equipment onto truck using blankets, cardboard corners, and proper strapping. Warms up truck while loading when cold weather exists
  • Protects equipment from elements when moving between truck and delivery site
  • Confirms delivery, pickup and/or movement with customer prior to delivery
  • Verifies address and records any special instructions or directions
  • Drives truck to deliver equipment and products to customer’s location
  • Records delivery information on delivery schedule
  • Locates customer contact
  • Organizes and completes all required paperwork per delivery 
  • Unloads and tags all returned items 
  • Conducts a daily delivery truck maintenance check for operation and safety
  • Conducts a daily review of required paperwork, tools and equipment needed 
  • Unloads and safely moves equipment to designated area. This may include pushing, pulling, utilizing dollies and/or stair climbers 
  • Obtains customer signature and date 
  • Verifies and records model number, serial number, serialized accessories and “end meter reads.” 
  • Removes, loads and secures equipment from customer’s facility
  • Using Tablet or paper documents, obtains customers signature and date
  • Contacts appropriate sales rep
  • Assists in other areas of the warehouse as needed
  • Other duties as assigned. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

What You Need to Succeed: 
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record as well as proof of insurability (required)
  • One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred but not required – we provide the training! 
  • Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs., push, pull, or roll copiers on flat ground and inclines. 
  • Basic mechanical understanding preferred 
  • Ability to use smartphones and tablets, GPS for navigation, Google Maps when necessary. 
  • Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet 
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
