Overview:
Carr Business Systems, Inc., A Xerox Company, is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service as well as will be responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities relating to the receipt, inspection, storage, picking, distribution and basic set up of office equipment, supplies and various goods.. This is a full-time opportunity delivering equipment throughout an assigned area.

What You’ll Do:
  • Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle 
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record 
  • Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations  
  • Provide excellent customer service 
  • Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment  
  • Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to networks 
  • Assist in receiving and shipping of Xerox products, equipment and various goods  
  • Load and unload vehicles 
  • Prepare equipment for shipment and delivery 
  • Check all orders for accuracy  
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse  
  • Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment  
  • Assist with inventory as needed

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Valid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving record  
  • One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred  
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience is preferred  
  • Basic mechanical understanding preferred 
  • Experience using smartphone, tablet and/or laptop
  • Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet  
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills 
  • Experience operating a forklift is preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old 
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours and regularly lift 50-75 pounds 
  • Able to safely maneuver oversized and overweight equipment  
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled
