Overview: Join our dynamic and forward-thinking team as the Director of Sales for our Inside Sales Organization, where your primary mission will be to drive the growth of our IT Solutions business. You will play a pivotal role in executing the program and achieving revenue targets, while leading a high-performance sales team that serves both existing Xerox clients and non-Xerox clients.


Position Overview: As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for all activities that drive the success of the sales team. This includes acquiring, retaining, and expanding business across new and existing accounts. Your focus will be on delivering revenue growth and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. You will lead a team of sales professionals, with a strong emphasis on hiring, coaching, and developing top talent. Additionally, you will engage with key decision-makers, working cross-functionally with internal departments to achieve strategic business goals.


Primary Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth and Client Satisfaction:

  • Drive revenue and profitability targets through innovative IT solutions tailored for various market segments.

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key decision-makers to ensure long-term satisfaction and success.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, ensuring a disciplined and effective communication process with clients.

Sales Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performance sales team, fostering a culture of continuous development and best practice sharing.

  • Implement cutting-edge sales strategies, including opportunity identification, resource allocation, and strategic negotiations.

  • Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and retention of top sales talent.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Analyze sales metrics and performance data to make informed decisions, ensuring the team stays on track to meet business goals.

  • Leverage data to identify areas of opportunity and implement actionable improvements.

Collaboration and Performance Management:

  • Collaborate across internal teams, including operations and product development, to drive business growth and meet client needs.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and development plans to ensure the team meets expectations.

Sales Process Excellence:

  • Promote a disciplined sales process driven by data, ensuring efficient and effective sales operations.

  • Champion innovative thinking and data analysis to enhance sales strategies and execution.


Qualifications, Experiences & Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).

  • 4-6 years of proven success in sales, with a track record of consistently exceeding targets.

  • Experience in people management or leadership

Sales Leadership and Business Acumen:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead sales teams and drive revenue growth in the IT solutions market.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to engage with clients in this segment.

  • Experience in sales and consulting, with a focus on achieving results and driving client value.

Communication and Relationship Building:

  • Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build strategic relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Innovative Thinking and Technical Expertise:

  • Creative problem solver with the ability to develop innovative solutions.

  • Proficiency in technology hardware and services sales, with strong knowledge of industry trends.

  • Experience with CRM tools, data analysis, and financial reporting.

Organizational and Planning Skills:

  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with competitive IT solutions and knowledge of digital trends is an advantage.
