Job Summary:
Responsible for the operational, on-site delivery of outsourcing/facilities management to end-user customers. Activities involve maintaining contracted service levels resulting in customer satisfaction, maintaining customer relationships, and contract commitments delivered within cost targets.  

This employee works as part of the service delivery team that is aligned to one or more customers. They will have a focus on the following:  
  • Delivery of service that meets SLA (Service Level Agreement) and customer satisfaction 
  • Supporting the achievement of productivity improvements 
  • Contributing to service transformation and business growth and further profitable service revenue  

Primary Responsibilities:  
  • Repairing, adjusting and maintaining non-Xerox finishing equipment. The paper cutter, shrink wrap machine, perfect binder and folders.
  • Maintaining a stock of supplies for use both in the Print shop as well as orders coming in from end users.
  • Verifying on the machine web pages that incoming service calls for other areas are legitimate. Clearing them by phone or cancelling them as needed. If legitimate, advising service technicians of what parts may be needed before they go onsite.
  • Ordering paper supplies for the departments as orders come in.
  • Ordering other paper stocks and supplies as needed by the Print Shop.    
  • Following up on Back orders and sourcing alternative supplies as needed.
  • Dedicated finishing responsibilities for specific specialty stock processing. Tray tickets, 5-hole paper etc.  
  • Using the various finishing equipment to complete those tasks. Drill, paper cutter, laminator etc.
  • Taking on other finishing tasks. Hole punching and coiling books, loading binders, binding books, laminating lapel cards. Etc.
  • Adjusting and editing third party fax software for fax books, print drivers and assorted settings as needed.
  • Managing documents belonging to the Northern Health Document Database. Adding, discontinuing and uploading edited forms.
  • Warehousing paper as the shipments come in. As skids come in, sorting and stacking cases of paper where they belong.
  • Maintaining the Products inventory section of the Northern Health website. Adjusting stock level, price etc.
  • Providing “first point of contact" for finishing, shipping, receiving as needed for PC and software related issues.
  • Pre-configuring, delivery and setup of desktop Xerox equipment as needed for moves, renos. in Prince George.
  • Shipping-Receiving of Xerox equipment for remote location depot repair.
  • Setting up and deploying scanning templates to the various machine as needed.
  • Data entry of monthly processed orders for Meridian software billing purposes.
Skills and Qualifications:  
  • Provide excellent customer service, anticipating the needs of the customer to align with Xerox’s business mission/objective.  
  • Able to work with minimal oversight, maintaining a high attention to detail and organization while demonstrating superior time management skills in accordance with Service Level Agreement and Statement of Work relevant for the customer  
  • Functional knowledge of a PC, including Microsoft Office and web browsing, sending and receiving emails, managing files, and performing data entry.  
  • Identifies problems in straightforward situations and makes sound decisions using standard procedures  
  • Eager to learn technologies surrounding print production and finishing equipment.  
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, and reach.
