JOB FUNCTION:

The Operations Lead is a key operational expert responsible for driving process excellence, resolving escalations, and supporting business performance across assigned teams, functions, or geographies.

Acting as the primary point of contact for operational and process-related matters, the Operations Lead provides expert guidance, ensures smooth day-to-day operations, and helps maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. This role serves as a trusted advisor, coach, and subject matter expert, while partnering closely with Operations Managers, Process Analysts, and stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement and business success.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead operations for the assigned function, shift, or geography
  • Serve as the go-to expert for process, system, and end-to-end operational knowledge
  • Provide operational guidance and escalation support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Investigate operational issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive effective resolutions
  • Partner with Operations Managers, Process Analysts, IT, and support teams to improve processes and resolve system-related challenges
  • Monitor process compliance, quality standards, and business controls
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects
  • Conduct quality audits, performance tracking, and User Acceptance Testing for new process implementations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Team Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of growth, development, and continuous learning through coaching, feedback, and mentoring
  • Support workforce planning, scheduling, leave management, and team availability
  • Contribute to the execution of operational strategies and business priorities
  • Promote collaboration, engagement, and a positive team environment

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of background in operations, data management, process improvement, or technology-enabled business environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, operational workflows, and business process management
  • Exposure to distribution, planning, order management, or supply chain operations is highly advantageous
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination responsibilities are preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to manage escalations and drive resolution
  • Solid understanding of finance, business operations, and stakeholder management
