Job Description:

•          The Team Manager – is responsible for leading a team of professionals to deliver cost-effective sourcing strategies, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive value across indirect or direct procurement categories.
•          The Team Manager oversees the procurement lifecycle leading and developing a high-performing team. They ensure cost-effective, timely, and efficient support to the Global Indirect Sourcing team.
•          Ensuring compliance with all internal organizational requirements policies / procedures / to support all internal customers and to realize satisfaction of all internal and external customers.

Primary Responsibility:  

•          Manage, mentor, and optimize team workload and capability; ensure balanced staffing and training
•          Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture aligned with company values.
•          Ensure alignment with global procurement policies and business objectives.
•          Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
•          Identify and mitigate supply chain risks proactively.
•          Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver value-added solutions.
•          Communicate procurement strategies and performance metrics effectively.
•          Oversee end-to-end procurement—from purchase requisitions to receipt and invoice processing globally.
•          Set KPIs, review performance, provide coaching, and foster continuous improvement
•          Work with internal stakeholders—finance, legal, operations—to forecast procurement needs and ensure compliance across functions aligned to sourcing activities.
•          In country Management of procurement supporting internal stakeholders
•          Support cost savings and service level improvement without compromising on quality or cost across the sourcing organization
•          Establish & maintain global relationships with the business functions to maintain global purchasing strategies
•          Maintain all procurement records and documentation; oversee supplier audits in country where required
•          Ensure all activities meet legal, regulatory, and company policy standards
•          Monitor contract database (Deletion, Extending, Termination, etc)
•          Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
•          Support Shared Service Centre Accounts Payables
•          Change Management - Transition like Systems, Processes, Vendors
•          Process optimization wherever possible
•          Compliance with our internal guidelines for new suppliers in our systems
•          Transition IT Systems - Processes - Change of supplier
•          Compliance with all legal legislation across regions where applicable

Candidate Education:

• ·         Completed commercial education
• ·         Advanced skills in MS Office Package(Word, Excel, Access Outlook)
• ·         Experience in purchasing systems e.g SAP, desirable but not essential
• ·         Language Skills: English core language, desirable languages, French, Italian, German Spanish
• ·         Procurement experiences desirable, working at a management level in a similar role in industry, manufacturing sites
