Reports to: Head of Commercial / Director of Business Transformation
Job Summary:
The Commercial Performance & Simplification Manager plays a dual role in driving commercial success and operational excellence. This position is responsible for analyzing business performance, identifying growth and efficiency opportunities, and leading simplification initiatives to enhance productivity across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a passion for process improvement and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Performance:
- Analyze commercial KPIs (e.g., revenue, margin, customer growth) and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports for leadership.
- Support strategic planning, pricing, and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align on commercial goals.
Simplification & Productivity:
- Identify and lead simplification projects to streamline processes, reduce complexity, and improve efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and process mapping to uncover inefficiencies.
- Implement automation or digital tools where appropriate to reduce manual work.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Monitor and report on productivity gains and project ROI.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in commercial performance, business analysis, or transformation roles.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., telecom, retail, FMCG].
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, RPA).
- Change management experience.
