Supports commodity manager(s) to deliver timely and cost-effective procurement of in-direct spend categories within Global Sourcing.  Brings project co-ordination/leadership to internal stakeholders and commodity manager(s) in the development of the sourcing strategy. Co-ordinates RFPs/RFQ activity in conjunction with stakeholders and global purchasing support. Negotiates pricing and contractual terms. Engages legal, insurance and risk management teams as required. Responsible for cost savings management and the implementation of Best-In-Class purchasing and reporting tools. 

 Job Duties: 

  • Help develop and execute the overall sourcing strategy.
  • Develop and execute negotiations with key suppliers, including negotiations on cost and contractual terms.
  • Build market and commodity knowledge to support the development and execution of regular monthly reporting (Commodity Dashboard)
  • Develop a seamless communication process with internal stakeholders and global purchasing support to ensure Purchase order and SOW execution is consistent with Global Sourcing policies and terms and conditions.
  • Subject matter expert on tools and processes. Work with internal stakeholders and commodity managers to develop and implement Ariba solution to ensure pricing compliance to contract.
  • Participating in tenders /annual/ proposals and contract for Marketing services and related items. 
  • Co-ordinate with legal and executive teams to ensure Best-In-Class terms and that any exposure/risk is understood and minimized. Advise executives on risk and associated risk mitigation strategies
  • Engage with legal to develop and apply consistent contractual terms and conditions across the in-direct supply network.
  • Develop plans to support, and deliver against Global Sourcing financial performance objectives for the commodity.
  • Project manage and close open issues
  • Identifies and implements process improvements

Experience requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 2-3 yrs of Procurement experience preferred.
  • International business experience preferred.
  • Fluent English - used in a daily basis 
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience in technology road-mapping, strategy development and implementation
  • Ability to develop a contractual strategy to develop and protect a Go-To-market strategy.
