Overview: 
Xerox Corporation is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to coordinate all aspects of Inventory Control and Order Entry. The Inventory Control Associate ensures that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely manner. Works closely with the Warehouse manager, purchasing department, Leasing / Billing department, Service and Asset Disposition to ensure the order is completed from start to finish. The Inventory order specialist must also communicate and work with other departments and management to relay information and resolve issues. Communicates with the customer on delivery dates and times. 

Job Functions: 
  • Process out of geography sales orders 
  • Preparation and review of all paperwork regarding inventory control 
  • Works closely with inventory manager to maintain general stock levels and future needs 
  • Communicates status of orders/backorders to Sales Department 
  • Contact customer to confirm and schedule delivery / pickups 
  • Assist in verifying inventory for quarterly physical inventories 
  • Assist in reconciling Demo Floor Inventory 
  • Audit reports to ensure inventory accuracy 
  • Work closely with sister companies 
  • Fulfill all Backorders 
  • Support Sales unconditionally 
  • Sustain positive culture 
  • Assign serial numbers to Sales Orders 
  • Work closely with Billing / Leasing Department 
  • Works closely with Installation / Training Department 

Responsibilities: 
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and financial objectives. 
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment 
  • Previous Experience in inventory control and processing 
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to deal with differing personalities. 
  • Strong initiative and willingness to seek out information. 
  • Organizational Skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a sometime demanding environment is critical. 
  • Must be able to work evening and/or weekend hours during peak periods. 

Education and Experience: 
  • Required: At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing and receiving  
  • Preferred: At least 4 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing and receiving 
  • High School Diploma or GED
