JOB FUNCTION: 

As part of the Managed Print Services (MPS) organization, the Vendor Manager is responsible for developing and managing Lexmark’s installation partner network across EMEA. The role combines vendor governance, procurement support, and project leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous business improvement.

  • Manage strategic relationships with installation partners across the EMEA region.
  • Support vendor selection, sourcing activities, and RFP/RFQ processes.
  • Monitor vendor performance, contractual compliance, and service delivery standards.
  • Oversee vendor financial operations, including payment governance and controls.
  • Lead partner transitions and transformation initiatives across the network.

 

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY: 

Vendor Management:

  • Manage vendor performance through KPI reviews, governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead business reviews, resolve escalations, and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Oversee invoice validation, payment tracking, inventory management, and asset control.
  • Coordinate process, system, and product-related changes with service partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related operational, financial, and commercial matters.

Procurement:

  • Support sourcing initiatives, vendor evaluations, and competitive tender processes.
  • Define business requirements and contribute to commercial assessments and business cases.
  • Support contract implementation, vendor onboarding, and offboarding activities.
  • Develop transition plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Track progress and ensure the delivery of key milestones and agreed actions.

Projects:

  • Lead onboarding, transition, and ramp-down projects for installation partners across EMEA.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure operational readiness and a seamless partner transition.
  • Deliver projects successfully while minimizing business disruption and customer impact.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor management, operations, service delivery, or a related area.
  • Proven project management experience in a complex business environment.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, supplier governance, or contract management is an advantage.

 

SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and a data-driven approach.
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
