Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Chemistry and Materials R&D Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for materials design, materials processing design, and materials characterization. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to contribute to innovative projects and grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in materials design and development projects.  Some project examples include.
      • Polymeric Resin & Composites
      • Latex design & manufacture
      • Marking Materials (i.e., Toner, Inks, coatings)
      • Additives
      • Dispersions
  • Develop and optimize materials processing techniques.
  • Perform materials characterization and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Document and present research findings and progress reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in chemistry and materials science principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

Recommended Skills:

  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Proficiency in software programming for problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and JMP software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
