Sales: Your actual On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

As Vice President of Sales of XBS West, A Xerox Company, you are responsible for leadership, profitability, growth, and direction of our region. You are responsible to plan and develop, implement, and execute a sales plan to fulfill the growth and revenue goals. You will manage all aspects of the sales function that includes sales incentives, outsides sales, new hires, and sales training. You will rely on your extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

Our Vice President of Sales must reside in Seattle-Washington, Portland-Oregon, or Reno-Nevada

Travel: must be willing to travel every week or minimum 2 full weeks a month


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct all aspects of achieving sales objectives, market share growth and initiatives
  • Responsible for employee retention, hiring, and development of sales team
  • Responsible for developing business plans that include goals, objectives and strategies that ensure budget attainment of sales goals, margins, and direct selling expenses to meet profit goals
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding individual salespeople's activities / performance and sales forecasts
  • Responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume for products, services and solutions provided
  • Control expenses
  • Ability to mentor and grow the skills of the sales team
  • May assist team in preparation of proposals and presentations
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are communicated and implemented
  • Build key customer relationships (external and internal) and implement strategies for expanding the client base
  • Responsible for all aspects of the sales functions within their location
  • Serves as an articulate, passionate, and visible executive leader

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all assigned salespeople
  • Leads and directs the work of others
  • Regularly meets with Sales Leadership on individual as well as team performance
  • Responsible for the development and career progression of current team
  • Effectively communicates and provides insights to each individual's progress, development and opportunities for improvement

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 5 years of field sales management and/or specialist experience
  • Direct B2B sales experience in our industry is preferred but others will be considered
