Overview:
Join Xerox's Product & Systems Engineering team and help develop innovative printers and multifunction office products. In this role, you will support product development through testing, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement while collaborating with engineers and technical specialists in a fast-paced laboratory environment. What You Will Do:
  • Support the development, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of printers and multifunction office products.
  • Perform product testing by following established test methods, standard operating procedures, and laboratory procedures while accurately documenting results.
  • Troubleshoot prototype printers, test beds, and toner and aqueous inkjet materials to identify and resolve product issues.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities in a safe, organized, and productive condition while reporting and troubleshooting equipment issues as needed.
  • Partner with engineers and technical specialists to evaluate process improvements that enhance product quality and manufacturing yield.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Experience performing basic electrical and mechanical repairs, product development activities, and working with bench test equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving computer, electrical, and mechanical systems related to printers or similar devices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access, with the ability to work in both Windows and UNIX environments.
  • Experience using diagnostic and measurement tools such as digital multimeters (DMM), manometers, machine diagnostics, and service documentation.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions, manage multiple priorities, learn new technologies quickly, and work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
