Function: EMEA Office of General Counsel – Contract Management
Primary Focus: UK contracts, with potential expansion to other EMEA countries


Role Purpose

Support the UK business by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing customer and related contracts, ensuring compliance with Xerox governance, commercial, legal, and accounting requirements. The role supports the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle and works closely with contract managers, sales, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver compliant and commercially sound agreements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, amendments, extensions, and renewals
  • Review customer and non‑standard terms and propose compliant, balanced positions
  • Support internal contract governance, approvals, and documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service Delivery, Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams to ensure contractual obligations can be met
  • Support bids and tenders (ITTs/RFPs) through contract review and clarification
  • Maintain accurate contract records and track work‑in‑progress
  • Support post‑signature contract modifications and contribute to audit readiness
  • Works closely with UK‑based stakeholders and teams
  • Operate effectively in a fast‑paced, sales‑driven environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining contract quality and compliance


Experience & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field
  • 2–4 years’ experience in contract management, contract drafting, or commercial/legal support
  • Experience supporting contract negotiations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with contract management systems
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Proven interpersonal, negotiation and persuasion techniques 
  • Ability to establish and maintain solid, trusting working relationships internally and externally 

 

Preferred

  • Experience with UK or common law contracts
  • Exposure to public sector contracts or tender processes
  • Additional European language skills
