Overview: 

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support Xerox products and business operations. This role focuses on delivering scalable applications, resolving technical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams using modern software engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools. You will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering reliable software solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do: 

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and solutions 
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver new product features and enhancements 
  • Analyze and resolve software design, functionality, and performance issues 
  • Develop and maintain APIs, technical documentation, and system designs 
  • Support troubleshooting and issue resolution across multiple platforms and environments 
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives 
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools and Generative AI techniques to improve productivity and software quality 
  • Apply Object-Oriented Design and Programming principles to develop maintainable and efficient code 


What You Need to Succeed: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field 
  • Strong experience with Java, Groovy, and Spring Framework 
  • Experience in full-stack development including front-end, back-end, and database technologies 
  • Knowledge of cloud-based development environments is an advantage 
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming principles 
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and collaborative delivery practices 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools or Generative AI technologies is preferred
