Summary

Xerox Business Solutions Southeast is recruiting for an IT Sales Specialist who will be responsible for selling a variety of Managed IT & Security Services (MITS), Data Center, Networking, Collaboration, Engineering, Database A.I., Staff Augmentation & Cybersecurity services. The IT Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing strategies focused on IT Services including Hardware, Software & Licensing related sales activity with existing Xerox and Non-Xerox Clients. Key activities inside this role are to prospect, identify, qualify, and close business from one of the most extensive technology portfolios. In addition, uncover opportunities for Xerox branded services like RPA and CareAR.


What You’ll Do:
  • Prospecting: Identify prospects inside and outside the customer base of Xerox Business Solutions Southeast.
  • Gain initial appointment, generally with a CIO, Director of IT, CEO, President, Owner, or other key decision makers at Mid-Size to Large organizations.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Determine customer pain points, budgetary requirements & decision-making process as it relates to IT Technology and management of their IT environment.
  • Conduct regular onsite and remote opportunity follow-up.
  • Communicate strong value propositions, deliver professional proposals, adapt to customer requirements, and improve customer success.
  • Work with Solution Architects & Engineers to prepare proposals and contracts for clients focused on the Value Proposition of Xerox IT Services to the Client’s requirements.
  • Work closely with sales support & Presales Engineering teams to develop opportunities and qualify/quantify leads.
  • Gains a specified number of new accounts each month by effective telemarketing, Quarterly Business Reviews with sales representative in the print division, partnering with other technology manufacturers Account Management teams and XBS marketing campaigns.
  • Develops and tracks opportunities in the Salesforce (CRM).
  • Build a trusted advisor status with key decision makers and decision influencers throughout the states of North Carolina and South Carolina.


What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • 3+ years of successful Technology sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and rapport-building abilities
  • Great interpersonal, negotiation and presentation capabilities
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to take risks and try innovative, new approaches
