Lexmark, one of the leading printing and image solution Companies, is seeking Statutory and Tax Accounting Coordinator to join its Budapest Office. As Statutory and Tax Reporting Controller you would be responsible for ensuring the statutory compliance of some legacy Lexmark and legacy Xerox legal entities operating in the EMEA and or AP regions. Accounting and controlling of these legal entities in line with US-GAAP are carried out by several teams at various locations within Lexmark. The successful candidate in this position will manage the end to end statutory reporting process and compliance activities with respect to the assigned entities. The tasks mainly include overseeing the statutory accounting and compliance processes, managing financial reporting processes, supporting external audits and partnering with local service providers and the SSC in Cebu in order that the compliance with the local accounting and tax requirements are ensured.
ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
- Working together with the tax service provider in relation to the preparation of the tax returns
- Reviewing the accuracy and completeness of the statutory financial statements and tax calculations and ensuring the timely filing
- Ensuring other compliance related activities of the legal entities
- Responsible for supporting the statutory audit processes
- Making suggestions how to improve and make more efficient the statutory accounting processes
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Master degree in accounting
- Significant experience working in an international environment
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Big Four experience and/or ACCA (or equivalent) qualification is an advantage
- Relevant experience with international statutory reporting is an additional asset
- Fluent English mandatory, both written and oral
German language skills are an advantage
