Job Role Summary:

Directly managing the clydebank remanufacturing operation, supporting Xerox's drive to net zero by 2040 by optimisizing our circular economy processes and driving revenue growth through increased the value we extract from assets captured in our reverse supply chain processes.

General:


Drive Revenue: We will improve our revenue by addressing how we go to market. We need to better differentiate our products, services, systems and resources based on our customers’ evolving needs, both in how they choose to buy and the level of service necessary for their business. As part of this differentiation we are offering a remanufactured  device strategy to our customers, servicing a need for a low carbon emissions alternative and driving circular economy principles. 

 

Re-energize our innovation engine. We have a great base from which to grow our software and services businesses. We also have a strong pipeline of new innovations in our labs that can disrupt industries. This includes new printing technologies that can create the future of digital packaging... artificial intelligence applications that can automate work tasks… augmented reality innovations that will make content more useful and valuable

 Leading team and arranging new/refurbished machine installations for sales department

 Dealing with any escalation raised by client or sales account managers, bringing them to a close

Engage with our technical services organisation to champion technology and innovation, explore utilization of Augemented Reality

to improve remanufacturing processes

 Engage with a wide range of supply chain partners (Remarketing, repair, logistics) 

 Managing our EMEA wide equipment remanufacturing processes both in clydebank directly as well as indirectly through european suppliers

 Monitoring of team performance using 1-2-1’s, annual reviews and six-monthly assessments

 Providing ongoing training and support to the team

 

Optimize operations for simplicity. The processes and systems we use are complex, as is our operating model. The result of this complexity is a negative impact to customer satisfaction, frustration for all of you, and unnecessary costs.

 Ensuring the remanufacturing processes are optimized to achieve the quality standards our customers demand 

 Monitoring and reporting on the profitability of our remanufacturing operations and identifying key improvement points and action plans

 Managing our outsourced remanufacturing processes outside of the UK, driving for simplicity and one common standard globally 

 Liaising with wider supply chain team to ensure availability of required resources (Logistics, planning, finance) 

 Liaising with sales teams to understand requirements, ensure inclusion of these requirements in our S&OP process 

 

Focus on cash flow and increase capital returns. We are scrutinizing how we deploy our capital to more effectively put our cash to work for us. This includes looking at investments in innovation and acquisitions, and in support of our optimization efforts. Therefore, we must have a maniacal focus on maximizing cash flow and ensuring its strength well into the future.

Drive profitability through improving remanufacturing processes and improving the technical performance of our facilitites

• Drive profitability through strict hands on management of our remanufacturing suppliers, ensuring adherance to quality standards while balancing the need for cost reduction

• Drive profitability and revenue growth through hands on management of our remarketing partners

• Minimize inventory while balancing available products with outlook and sales demand

 

 

Education Requirements:

Min/Preferred Experience in leading a team of professionals 

 

Additional Role Requirements:

 Attend daily operations briefings

 Attend weekly workflow catch up meetings

 Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft
