JOB FUNCTION

  • Ensure the availability of products at EMEA level at best cost and customer satisfaction conditions
  • Plan demand and supply (production, VMI inventory according to priorities)
  • Provide visibility on stock and customer order availability to all key players in the product flow
  • Manage the change (key player in business evolution)
  • Contribute actively to process improvements (Lean culture)

 

 ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

  • Manage EMEA supply planning and inventory to ensure product availability
  • Ensure the availability of products at EMEA level at best cost and customer satisfaction conditions.
  • Provide visibility on product and customer order availability to all key players in the product flow
  • Plan, create and control Production orders to fulfill EMEA demand on time
  • Follow-up warehouse capacity for productions and secure date commitment to customers, including reworks and product holds
  • Ensure production activities are in line with South-Africa and Turkey replenishment requirements
  • Optimize and audit inventory levels to meet inventory targets
  • Track Inbound shipments and propose expedition as needed
  • Control backlog monitoring activity and stock availability while keeping inventory at optimum level
  • Ensure allocation process and stock reservation is managed in timely manner to secure customer satisfaction and business goals
  • Communicate accurate information about product availability variances at customer orders, order lines and /or part number level
  • Understand and provide Potential Revenue Outlook
  • Proactively identify and fix potential issues or bottleneck in order to secure shipments on time
  • Recommend, lead and implement operational process improvements
  • Handle and solve effectively escalations, priority issues
  • EOL/NPI support
  • Participate in the Direct Shipment process

 

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • BSc degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain: planning or order management - in an international environment

 

 PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to manage difficult situations and the associated stress
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Proactive, open-minded, innovative and able to multi-task
  • Good problem-solving skills and quick reaction time
  • SAP (fulfillment and planning environment) would be a plus
  • Proficient in Excel (MS Office)
  • APICS certification, Business intelligence reporting (Business Objects), Green Belt certificate or Lean experience would be a plus
