Overview:
Join our Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) team and help drive the company's sustainability initiatives. As a Sustainability Engineer, you will support greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, lifecycle assessments (LCAs), carbon reduction initiatives, and sustainability reporting. This role plays a critical part in achieving the organization's science-based targets, carbon neutrality goals, and compliance with global sustainability frameworks while partnering with cross-functional teams worldwide.

What You Will Do:
  • Maintain and support the corporate greenhouse gas inventory (Scopes 1, 2 & 3)
  • Perform greenhouse gas calculations and emissions reporting following the GHG Protocol
  • Conduct lifecycle assessments (LCA) in accordance with ISO 14040/14044
  • Support Science-Based Targets (SBTi) implementation and emissions reduction initiatives
  • Assist with Carbon Neutral Certification activities including carbon footprint tracking and REC/carbon offset planning
  • Prepare sustainability disclosures and reporting for CDP, GRI, CSR, EPEAT, and other frameworks
  • Analyze sustainability data and recommend process improvements
  • Support customer sustainability requests, carbon calculations, questionnaires, and RFPs
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party verification partners
  • Maintain sustainability databases and reporting tools.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Environmental Science
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Chemical Engineering
    • or another related engineering/science discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of direct sustainability experience
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • GHG Protocol
  • Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions
  • Lifecycle Assessment (LCA)
  • ISO 14040/14044
  • Science-Based Targets (SBTi)
  • Sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, EPEAT)
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with:
    • Carbon Neutral Certification
    • Carbon accounting platforms (Persefoni or similar)
    • LCA software (Sphera or similar)
    • Power BI
    • Emerging reporting regulations (CSRD, California Climate Accountability laws).
