Key Responsibilities

  • Software Architecture & Development
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, Java, and C++.
  • Architect and optimize Windows services, self-hosted WCF services, and IIS-hosted web applications.
  • Oversee front-end development with jQuery, KnockoutJS, and Bootstrap to ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Design and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability.
  • Manage legacy systems while planning and executing modernization strategies.

Technical Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and system design.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Development Tools & Process Management

  • Utilize Visual Studio, JIRA, Bitbucket, and SVN (archive) for software development and version control.
  1. Optimize workflows and integration with JIRA for issue tracking and Bitbucket/SVN for source control.
  2. Enforce best practices in code management, branching strategies, and automated builds.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in software development, with a focus on .NET technologies (ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Windows Services).
  • Strong expertise in C#/.NET Framework, Java, and C++ (legacy modules).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (jQuery, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap).
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, performance tuning, stored procedures).
  • Knowledge of Windows Installer development for software distribution.
  • Experience in IIS-hosted web applications and Windows service management.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud migration or hybrid architectures.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for modernizing applications.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices for deployment automation.
