Job Purpose 

Based on our client site in Yeovil, this role forms part of the Xerox team operating onsite and focuses on driving digital transformation across the client’s UK locations. 

The position involves engaging with the customer to identify and implement digitization projects, working closely with key stakeholders as part of a wider change program, and ensuring the long-term preservation of the client’s UK documentation. 

You will work with the onsite team to provide governance and ensure compliance with the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) ‘BS10008 Evidential Weight and Legal Admissibility of Information Stored Electronically’. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the client site to drive digitalization initiatives. 
  • Creating, testing, maintaining, and updating scanning profiles. 
  • Collaborating with the Scan Team Leader. 
  • Participating in user acceptance testing. 
  • Maintaining and updating trackers. 
  • Producing consolidated management information.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office — particularly Excel and Word. 
  • Ability to learn new programs and applications. 
  • Experience creating and updating Statements of Work. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with the wider team, management, customers, and suppliers. 
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of an integrated team, with the ability to prioritize tasks to maximize productivity. 
  • Strong logical thinking and information-processing skills. 
  • Ability to build and manage key relationships. 
  • Experience in managing printing, scanning, and document management processes. 
  • Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. 
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines through effective task and budget management. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and with suppliers and customers. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and teams across functions and locations.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications 

  • Understanding of Kodak Capture Pro, as training can be provided.
  • Understanding of long term digital archive systems, as training can be provided.
  • Prior experience in document digitization or scanning. 
  • Previous use of Adobe Acrobat. 
  • Previous use of SAP is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
